Names, logos, slogans, distinctive packaging, sounds and even smells can be protected in the UAE under Federal Decree-Law No. 36 of 2021. We help determine what is registrable, in which classes, and where protection is most valuable.
A UAE trademark is protected for ten years from the filing date and can be renewed indefinitely for successive ten-year periods. We diarise every renewal so your protection never slips.
Yes. Trademark rights are territorial: a foreign registration does not automatically protect you in the UAE. You need a national UAE application, or an international application through the Madrid Protocol designating the UAE.
Government fees depend on the number of classes and the type of mark. After a short consultation we provide a clear, fixed-fee proposal covering official fees and our work — no surprises, no open-ended billing.
